Pre-Registration period: Starting from March 5, 6pm (Japan time)

Maximum Participants: 5000 players
Format: 8 round Swiss-draw Double Elimination, followed by 7 round Single-Elimination (Each round will be best of 1, 25 minutes per round)
This announcement which presumably comes from VJump (and would have it’s contents decided at an earlier date) however comes at an interesting timing, as Japan has also just announced on their official website that they are cancelling all of their events including shop tournaments, WCS qualifying shop events, duelist exchange meetings and more.
The cancellations are being done in light of the recent coronavirus outbreak situation and will commence from February 20 up till end of March. Konami will review the situation and update again at a later date of when they will resume their events.
We expect more information to surface so stay tuned.
