YOT Hong Kong 2018: Feature Match Swiss Round 5
We are halfway into the tournament and here are two players currently at 3-1.
On the left is Zheng Ze Bin from China using Gouki, and on the right is Wang Chia Ching from Taiwan playing Trickstar.
Wang Chia Ching is the current 2018 World Champion and he is here wearing his World Championship 2018 shirt.
Ze Bin went first and opened with M-X-Saber Invoker which followed into Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights.
After Gouki Twistcobra and SPYRAL Super Agent were added to hand, Chia Ching threw out a Droll & Lock Bird.
Isolde sent 3 Equip Spells to the graveyard to Special Summon Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin.
Aqua Dolphin’s effect was activated by sending Destrudo the Lost Dragon’s Frisson and that saw a concede from Chia Ching.
Zheng Ze Bin [Gouki] 1 – 0 Wang Chia Ching [Trickstar]
Chia Ching went first and opened by setting a Trap card. He considered for a moment before summoning Trickstar Lycoris and ended his turn.
Ze Bin tried to setup his play but was heavily disrupted along the way. Destrudo from hand was banished
by Trickstar Reincarnation, Mathematician was negated by Effect Veiler, and there was even a Maxx “C”.
Ze Bin decided not to give his opponent any cards and ended his turn.
Chia Ching simply followed up with a Crystron Needlefiber into Borrelsword Dragon and finished the game.
Zheng Ze Bin [Gouki] 1 – 1 Wang Chia Ching [Trickstar]
Ze Bin went first and opened into Isolde, which was met with a Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit.
However he had a Soul Charge and was able to follow up into Aqua Dolphin.
Aqua Dolphin revealed Chia Ching had a terrible opening hand including Psyframe Driver and Speedroid Taketomborg.
Ze Bin continued for a few more moves before Chia Ching concedes.

This was a fast game between both players but unfortunately Chia Ching fell to a poor opening hand.
